The program, spanning three years, is designed for graduate students holding a Master's degree in Electronic and Information Engineering. However, it is also accessible to students from diverse fields within engineering and science. The program warmly welcomes international students.
The essence of the doctoral program lies in the preparation of an independent research thesis under the guidance of a thesis supervisor. The thesis shall contain original results and constitute a significant theoretical or applicative advancement in the state of art of the chosen discipline. Furthermore, doctoral students must follow courses and seminars,participate in scientific events, publish papers, and conduct research periods abroad. The allocation of credits follows the guidelines stipulated in the Rules of the PhD School in Information Engineering (in Italian).
